OUR STORY
Kelly and Kelsey met while studying at the University of Michigan, where their love story began with coffee, art, and a little bit of confusion.
Their first date was at Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea followed by a visit to the University of Michigan Museum of Art. From there, they spent plenty of time exploring Ann Arbor together, frequenting local favorites like the Arboretum, Bill’s Beer Garden, Joe’s Pizza and more. At first, Kelly was convinced Kelsey was just looking for another friend until Kelsey famously said, “I have enough friends.” And the rest, as they say, is history.
After graduating from Michigan, the two moved to Chicago, where Kelsey completed his dental residency and Kelly began her journey toward medical school. In March 2023, Kelly was accepted to the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, and Kelsey graciously (and lovingly) followed her to central Illinois.
Five years, a few moves, one very spoiled dog named Oso, and countless adventures later, Kelly and Kelsey have grown together through every new chapter. Now, as Kelly finishes medical school, they’re excited to trade exams and residency applications for something much more fun: getting married and starting their next adventure together!
